Last week I went on a field trip to Fort Carlton and Batoche with my son’s grade 4 class. It was a great day and the kids a great time despite the rainy weather. On our tour of Fort Carlton we took a walk around the upper walkway to view the fort and surrounding area from above. This was the view of the meadow around the fort from that walkway.
