On our canoe trip this fall we took a day trip to check out Nistowiak Falls. I set up in the usual (horisontal) way to take a panorama but with the close quarters it was tough to get enough foreground and sky in the frame. The solution…use vertical images. I rotated the camera 90º to for portrait images. This allowed me to get more foreground and sky in the fame. The result is a panorama made from 7 vertical shots blended together in Photoshop. What do you think?
